Located at the gateway to Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula wine region, Stumpy Gully Winery is a family-owned winery and hospitality venue known for its relaxed atmosphere, rustic charm and connection to the surrounding landscape. Eclectic Creative was engaged to help refresh and elevate the interior spaces, creating a warm and inviting environment that felt authentic to both the winery’s character and the laid-back spirit of the region.
The design direction focused on enhancing the existing architectural elements while introducing layered textures, refined furnishings and carefully considered styling throughout the venue. Natural materials, tactile finishes and earthy tones were selected to complement the winery setting and create interiors that felt welcoming, relaxed and timeless rather than overly polished or commercial.
Working across the hospitality spaces, the project balanced functionality and durability with atmosphere and guest experience. Furniture selections, lighting and styling elements were carefully curated to create spaces that encouraged gathering, conversation and connection while supporting the practical requirements of a busy hospitality environment.
Throughout the project, emphasis was placed on creating interiors that felt authentic to the winery’s identity, balancing rustic warmth with contemporary refinement. The result is a layered and character-filled hospitality space that reflects the relaxed charm of the Mornington Peninsula while offering guests a welcoming and memorable experience.
