Whether you are engaging us for Interior Renovations, New Builds or Furniture and styling we tend to follow a consistent process taking you from concept to completion.
The Initial Consultation is our first meeting, we’ll delve into the details—gathering the brief for the project, exploring your space, style, and functional needs. This allows us to gain a clear understanding of how to bring your vision to life.
We use all of this information to put together a comprehensive scope of works, which forms our proposal and working agreement.
Initial meetings generally run for one hour and ideally at the project site. We email you through the proposal within 5 days of meeting outlining next steps and design fees.
With the contract signed, and the deposit paid to confirm the project we will send you client questionnaire to complete. This is typically for interior renovation and joinery design services to capture crucial information and ensure we tailor the design especially for you.
If requested, this can also include a project Site Meeting with relevant contractors or trades required early on. Usually, this can be with the Architect or Registered Draftsperson to reconfirm the client brief and introduce them to the project.
We begin to research the brief and formulate the initial concept ideas with mood boards and visuals of what your project may look like. We begin to address layout ideas, and provide indicative ideas for materials and finishes to help create a visual story for your project and ‘the big picture.’
These ideas are then put into a custom document and explained to you usually via zoom. Based on your feedback we then move into the next stage.
With the big picture of the design confirmed, we then move into the details and refining the concept based on your valued feedback.
This stage can take time as we specify all the required materials, finishes, fittings and fixtures related to your project brief.
This can also include interior furnishings selection in conjunction (or separate) from your renovation or build.
We meet with you to show you the refined ideas in person, material samples and confirm details for the project so everything is clear.
All the important information for your project is documented and finalised, from floor plans and elevations to material selection schedules, ensuring everything is clear and ready for the next steps.
We often offer furniture and decoration services alongside our renovation projects. As the project nears completion, or once key pieces and most furniture are delivered, we’ll arrange a site visit to assess any finishing touches or additional needs.
On install day, we’ll hang artwork, complete the styling, and conduct a final walk-through to hand over the project. This phase is charged hourly, with an estimate provided in your proposal based on your specific requirements.
Meeting on-site with the engaged build team to discuss the concept and complexities of the project. This is where site signage is hung and a build timeline including estimated meetings is confirmed by the allocated builder and contractors.
During your renovation or new build, we schedule site visits at key stages to ensure the design is on track and to collaborate with your builder on any issues—common with older homes. At this stage, we switch to an hourly rate and provide time estimates based on your project scope.
We thrive on collaboration and are known for our calm, proactive approach to problem-solving. Unexpected challenges can arise, but by working together as a team, we find practical solutions to keep your project moving forward.
We often provide Furniture and decoration services in conjunction with our renovation projects. Once the project is nearing completion or key pieces and majority of furniture has been delivered we organise a site meeting to see if there are any finishing touches or additional pieces required.
Install day is arranged to hang artwork, conduct the finished styling, and final walk-through and handover of the project. This phase is charged hourly and like above, we provide an estimate within the proposal based on your specific requirements.
All of our projects end with a photoshoot to capture the project alongside our photographer and stylist.
This is a fantastic opportunity to document the transformation, and see how far you have come. We also ask for a testimonial of your experience.
And its time to enjoy your space!
