INTERIOR DECORATION + STYLING ADVICE
If you need help updating the interior of your home, and advice of what things to keep or refresh and how to communicate your own interior style, we can happily work on one room or the entire house.
We organise an initial consultation and then a custom plan will be designed especially for you based on the design brief and information gathered at our meeting. Depending on your requirements a package of inspiration and style direction, vision board, paint samples, fabric swatches and floor layout ideas will be provided. A supplier list of key pieces such as furniture, rugs, art and accessories and where to source these will also be supplied.
We can then organise additional custom services like personalised shopping trips, visits to supplier and trade-only showrooms as well as organise custom cabinetry, framing and furniture.
So you love what we do, you’re ready for some expert help and you’ve booked your consultation with us – Yay! Start to gather any inspiration – be it online images, magazines, fabric and paint samples – of things that you like, love and wish to see in your own home. This helps form an important starting point for the project, and ensures you get the most out of the consultation.
Start thinking about the style of interior you would like to have – are there particular colours you love (or hate) – what type of mood would you like to create? We can explore this at our first meeting and use your initial inspiration as the driving force behind the design process.
2. Initial Consultation
Depending upon the assistance you require, we can meet in your home or at a suppliers showroom for a casual yet informative discussion about the overall outcomes for the project. We discuss the tasks of the project needing to be worked upon and discuss a range of things from your style preferences to colour choice. All this information helps us establish the overall brief which forms the scope of work. We can use this time to discuss your inspiration you have gathered and any general questions you may have relating to the project.
The initial consultation is up to 90 minutes and we charge for this service. Travel fees may apply for areas beyond our usual area.
3. Flexible Approach
We offer a flexible approach to all of our clients where you have the choice of how much you require our services. Whether you prefer an end to end style service – engaging us from beginning to the end of the project, or perhaps you would prefer to do the leg work yourself and just need our expertise on colour, material and furniture options with a list of suppliers – we can do that too.
We give you the choice and can provide estimates for the services you require. We predominately work on flat-fee basis or hourly rate.
4. Our Style
We celebrate interiors with personality and transform houses into homes. Our approach at Eclectic Creative prides itself on a non pretentious and down-to-earth design service where we like to get to know you, understand your lifestyle, aspirations and goals and then seek to implement these through a personalised design process.
We love creating interiors that tell your story – we specialise in eclectic personalised interiors, blending the old with the more contemporary. Thoughtful colour inclusions mixed with keepsakes and new finds – we tend to steer clear of the latest cookie-cutter trends and prefer to implement an interior style that is unique to you.
